The Club Nautique de Claouey , affiliated to the Fédération Française d’Aviron, offers you the opportunity to take up this maritime sport through a two hour introductory session on the Bassin d’Arcachon.

Our taster sessions allow you to become familiar with sea rowing as you master the basic techniques.
A taster session could be the springboard for you to get involved at a more competitive level. Whatever your desires and progress, you will soon be able to propel a boat forwards and backwards, to turn, to stop, and to vary your speed.

A rowing taster session allows you to take part in an activity which promotes cohesion and provides familiarity with the unique sensation of gliding over the water.
Under the tutelage or our qualified and specialist sea rowing instructors, novices will have the pleasure of discovering the delights of the Bassin d’Arcachon and learning how to move and balance on the water.
In this novel maritime environment, we will teach you the rules of security, correct deportment on the water and the vocabulary necessary for sea rowing.
