Classic sailing
The sailing school of the Club Nautique de Claouey has been the cradle of classic sailing since 1997. Allow yourself to be seduced by a day’s sailing on a typical Bassin boat visiting the Ile aux Oiseaux and the cabanes tchanquées.
Sailing Pinasses
The Pinasse, traditionally a sailing boat, was used for fishing and working the oyster beds. Nowadays, sailing a Pinasse on the Bassin d’Arcachon guarantees an original experience in the purest tradition of the Bassin.
The sailing ferry (Barque) l’Escalumade
The Club Nautique de Claouey is a partner in the Association “L’Escalumade”. Constructed in 2000 at the initiative of the mairie of Lège and the sailing school of the Club Nautique de Claouey, the “Escalumade” was a feat of local naval building with sixth formers, schoolchildren, club members and volunteers all lending a hand, that has been widely emulated.
